Schedule change or new to school - a yellow NEW button will appear beside the student's name.
From the Dashboard, click on Teacher Access.
Click My Gradebook.
Open the gradebook for a specific class.
Click the NEW button.
Choose one of 5 options to transfer a grade into the gradebook.
Semester and final grades are calculated from the teacher’s gradebook. Without term grades a semester or final grade will not be averaged.
Student is transferring from one section to another section of the same course and the number and details for assignments match exactly. Example: Student moves from teacher's first block Algebra 1 to same teacher's third block Algebra 1. Teacher has entered the exact assignment in both classes.
Student is transferring early in the year and has few assignments.
Student is coming from a class with similar assignment. Example: Student moves from Regular to Pre-AP.
Student changes schools within the district; for similar classes with similar assignments.
Student is new to the district.
Student does not have any dropped classes available.
Teacher needs to enter term grades for closed grading periods.
Student transfers from one section to another section of the same course and student has few or no matching assignments.
Student is new to the district. Since there are no assignment grades, the student will begin with a transferred overall percentage grade.
Click the NEW button.
Choose Manually Transfer Scores.
Choose Assignment and Term Grade or Term Grades Only
4. Select the class the student is transferring from.
The dropped grades will be shown on the left of the screen.
5. Enter the transfer grade and percent in the appropriate term.
6. Click Save Term Grades and Finish.
